First one ever in Japan! What is "Dark Sky Place"?

March 30 in 2018,
Iriomote-ishigaki Nationla Park which is located in
Yaeyama islands of Okinawa, had been accredited
as the Japan's first "Dark Sky Place"
by the International Dark Sky Association(IDA).
It is an international certification has been created
to protect the environment of dark sky
and beautiful starry sky.
Up to now, 95 locations with beautiful skies
around the world have been certified,
but this was the first oen ever in Japan.

Please experience one of the world's most
beautiful and mysterious
starry sky in
Yaeyama islands where is recognized as
"Dark Sky Place".
